Suppose 60 overnight hotel guests are surveyed to determine what they ate for breakfast with the following result:

27 had eggs, 22 had bacon, 36 had toast,

19 had eggs and bacon, 16 had eggs and toast, 15 had bacon and toast, 12 had eggs bacon and toast

A guest is selected at random. Find the probability that the guest had:

(a)none of the three

(b)toast but neither eggs nor bacon

(c)eggs and bacon but not toast

(d)bacon only

I think something is wrong with the problem.no key to the problem therefor choose A

at most 47 had breakfast.12 had eggs bacon and toast

4 eggs and toast 3 had bacon and toast 7 had eggs and bacon

total 23 eggs 22 bacon 19 toast 4eggs ang 17toast were rest A guest is selected at random only eggs and toast no bacon eliminate C,D and B therefor choose A
